Curvature is a property of lines that varies from the absolute straight line to the definite curve. As much as the straight and the curve contrast with each other, they also complement each other in a composition, which can be appreciated not just visually as a picture but also kinaesthetically (as body movement) and auditorily (as a soundscape).
